The web opens a whole new realm of business startup potential. I’m actively looking for partners who possess (1) crazy-good ideas with real solid revenue potential, and (2) tons of inroads and contacts into particular lines of business.
If that describes you, I may be able to work with you to produce a prototype of your web concept very rapidly. Once you’ve got something “real, live, and clicking” a number of things happen:
- You experience your idea again, for the first time — maybe that means you get more excited, maybe that means you see its limitations and for a very moderate investment you just saved yourself 6 or 7 figures of financial pain.
- Assuming your idea looks even better on screen than in your head — having a working prototype or proof of concept can do wonders for raising funds if that’s part of your plan.
- There’s nothing like a click-through approach to help you realize what parts you missed: “Oh yeah, we *definitely* need to support file uploads for this widget” — that kind of thing.
